The Foundation — As I See It.
“Dreams are not what we see when we are asleep. Dreams are something that does not let us sleep.” I begin in the light of this famous saying, for it all began as a dream. Walking down the memory lane, I see myself beginning the session in 2005-06 with just 5 students, which rose to 15 by 2007. In 2009 – 10, we had 50 Students under our wings. Yes, by this time, I was not alone; it became we, as a few more dreamers joined and extended their hands when my strong faith touched them. Some came as teachers to nurture the blooming buds with smiling faces, some people from other professions also lent their hands and Ascend Educational Trust came into existence. In this regard, I am thankful to the parents of the students also who entrusted us. Without their support and cooperation, we could not have come this far. I always nurtured this notion that studying and teaching should not be adverse to the little minds. They should joyfully accept education, not be in mortal fear of it. Keeping that in mind, I devised a method with my experiences and study of different systems present in the field to create an atmosphere in our school, which our children would accept happily and playfully.
