The Foundation Buds: Early Learning in Kolkata Through Play-Based Education
“The Foundation Buds” is the “PRE-KINDY ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME (PLAY GROUP)” of “The Foundation School” which is in ‘K-12 sector’ for more than 20 years in Kolkata, West Bengal. Aligned with NEP-2020 where the term ‘Balvatika’, translates to “children’s garden” in Sanskrit, was used by Govt. of India emphasizing a playful and nurturing environment for young learners, we ensure that in our centers children from 1.5 year onwards have access to free, safe and high-quality ECCE where ECCE qualified teachers impart play-based learning.
